#JustZergthings

Lately, I've been trying to get involved with lots of things in school. I'm the president of our school's Key club, which is a bit ironic, because the club is technically based on Christian service and I find myself secular. Anyway, a few kids at our school tried to start an e-sports club, and I have a few friends in there, so I decided to help them out and join. Now I'm on our unofficial pokemanz team and our starcraft 2 team, which I just started playing this week.

While we were playing today, I played as a race of bug eyed space... bugs. Named Zergs. Anyway, through my crappy playing I decided to start the hashtag #JustZergthings, so I thing that's going to be my first new tag of this blog. I figured I'll use that one whenever I talk about video games, and hopefully I'll talk about other things than just that.

In other news, the Olympics was pretty cool. My mum ranted on about how it was all just propaganda and garbage, but I still think the effort they went through was rather impressive.

A new year, a new blog, a new tavern wench

For a long time now (well, a possibly not so long time), my mum has suggested that I started blogging again. The last time I actually blogged was back in 2009, for my 9th grade English class. Now that I'm nearly an adult, I'm more terrified of growing up than when I was 8. I don't know why I'm talking about that. But, I wanted to start blogging again. So what better time to start than at 11 pm? Well, that's a bit of a lie. It's only 10:53.

If you're confused, or cornfused, for the laymen, the title of this blog relates directly to the title of my old blog, the loner corner. If I had the mind I have now, it would have definitely been the boner corner, or maybe I intended that to be the joke. Either way, I don't really understand who that guy was.

Anyway, I guess a little bit about me would be nice if you just strolled by this blog and decided to read a little about it. I was born on the internet, and I'm a robit! No, I'm not, but I don't want to reveal where I'm from, because you'd probably judge me, jerk. No, I'm kidding. You can just call me Skip, or Seamus, or whatever ya' feel like, it's all the same to me. If you see any grammatical errors, feel free to swear at me in the comments, I've gotten pretty good at ignoring you mean people. I like listening to music, playing drums, doing a bit of reading, writing, or drawing, and playing video games. If I'm not doing schoolwork, you can better bet that's what I'll be doing at any given moment. Well, sometimes you may catch me working out, but that's a rarity these days.

I think I've had a pretty interesting life so far, I mean, probably no where as interesting as many of yours' must be, but enough that I feel really satisfied with the quality of my life. I've had battles with depression, girlfriends, regular friends, pretty much standard stuff, and I've coming out learning that the best way to get out of stick situations is to make a joke. If you can take a joke, life's going to be a lot easier on you, and I've been really working on that this year. Even though I meant to post this back in like mid-January or so, it's now like half-way through February, you love-birds. Dear god, all the hyphens.

Anyway, that's just a little about me. I'll try to think about things to write about and try to have pretty consistent posts about once a week, and I'll try not to be too whiny, because no one really wants to read about that. I mean, I get tired of hearing it come out of my mouth.

Take care, new internet friends who may or may not discover me!

Your new friend,
Seamus "Skip" McGreal
